John Denver, Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and Poet Laureate of Colorado, released over twenty studio albums in his three decade career; 12 gold and 4 platinum to go along with a string of gold singles. He is best known for such definitive pop and country fare as "Annie's Song," "Fly Away," "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" and "I'm Sorry," all of which appear here on his second 'Best Of' compilation album Greatest Hits Volume 2, originally issued on RCA Records in 1977 as the follow-up to the first volume which hit the shelves in 1973.
