Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1983 EP from the tribal Psychobilly Blues band fronted by Jeffrey Lee Pierce, including a bonus live CD. The highly acclaimed Death Party E.P was recorded and produced by Chris Stein of Blondie for his record label Animal Records. Featuring a new band line up and recorded in New York, this heavy sounding Rock monster of a record saw The Gun Club reach new heights with tracks like 'The House on Highland Ave' and' Death Party Notable new band member Jim Duckworth who had just finished his stint with Alex Chilton and Tav Falco's Panther Burns brought a new level of Stooges-sounding guitar noise to the band and an extreme white noise blast.
