Enjott Schneider has recourse to unusual subjects in his compositions on this CD. Although the dialectic between triviality and art is still somewhat hidden in the Morgenstern Liederbuch, the Variations on Love (lonely hearts ads) and Chatroom intervene more strongly in the current phenomena of internet-chatting, high-speed cyber-dating and similar things.
