The third episode of the "Weimarer Klassik" is again dedicated to musical treasures from Thuringia. This time Max Pommer and the Thuringia Chamber Orchestra Weimar have concentrated on music of the 18th century, with an emphasis on the symphonic genre. Lovers of classical and pre-classical music can look forward to unusual discoveries. Max Pommer (born 9 February 1936) is a German musicologist and conductor, a director of the Leipziger Universitätschor and the founder and conductor of the Neues Bachisches Collegium Musicum.
